About Learn & Lead Educational Center
Learn and Lead Educational Center was established in 2008 by Yolande and Jamell Robinson. L & L provides a number of services for students of all ages, parents and teachers. Yolande is a special education teacher that has a Bachelors of Education in Elementary Education and Masters of Education in Educational Psychology. This background helps her and her team provide tutoring services for students ranging from having special developmental needs, to average ability to those that are gifted and need an extra challenge.
Although L & L began primarily as tutoring center, it now provides a number of other services. Among these services include private consulting for parents, educational consulting for teachers and education students, student leadership and teacher training workshops.

L & L's mission is to provide a confidential, caring, creative and compassionate environment where all students and their parents are empowered and taught how to recognize and optimize their full potential in order to become the leaders of tomorrow.
Our Facilities
Our center is a learner centered environment. As research tells us, students learn in a variety of different ways. Therefore, our teaching style caters to a variety of different learning styles. Our resources reflect this fact and have all been specially chosen to help address the individual needs of our students. A variety of educational games and multi-sensory resources can be found in the center in order to help each child reach their learning potential.
Literacy is an important aspect embedded into just about every element of learning. At L & L we take the development of literacy skills very seriously. We also understand that a child's literacy skills are more likely to improve if they enjoy and are interested in what they are reading. For this reason we have a wide variety of books that range from picture books to novels, both fiction and non-fiction.
Our resources are not only for our students. Our tutors have hundreds of professional resources to help them plan their lessons and address the difficulties that their students are encountering. This professional library also includes information that can be photocopied and shared with our parents on topics that pertain to their children.
